Community Christian School

Children are God's gift to parents and . . . grandparents too! We thank God for them and continually keep them in our prayers. What a great joy, privilege, and responsibility parents have in receiving these gifts from Him! Every parent I know loves their child and wants the very best for them. And yet we have such a limited time, a brief open window in which as parents, we have the opportunity to lay the foundations that will equip them for the rest of their lives.

We are called to be trusted guides who will help them make sense of their world and to share with them the reality of a loving and risen, Jesus Christ. It's the parents who get to play vital roles in making sure that the virtues of character, knowledge and wisdom are solid footing for them to withstand the storms of life that await them. It's the parents who have such an amazing opportunity to build hope, courage and purpose into the walk of each child.

But there is in fact, so little time to do the nurturing, training and encouraging we would like to impart to them. All of this is why it is so important to be discerning and intentional in our children's educational development. Who we share this task with is critically important.
