The Prutsman Family
We chose CCS because it is a covenantal model school. We covenant together with the faculty and staff at CCS to teach our children from a biblical worldview. Both the teachers and parents look at the student as a whole child. We nurture, love, encourage, and pray over the kids. The CCS faculty is an outstanding group of individuals. They have blessed our family tremendously. We receive insights into our kids’ lives and hearts from them that we might not otherwise see. We appreciate that our faculty live Godly lives in front of our students every day. The leadership skills our boys have received in the high school program have far exceeded our expectations. CCS continues to raise up leaders who are academically prepared for college and beyond. We have found that the academic program is rigorous and challenging for our boys. CCS offers AP, Honors, and General level course work, each taught in an environment where students are set up to succeed. The spiritual formation program has prepared our boys to face today’s world and culture as they go into the world to influence it for Christ. The opportunities to travel and minister to others who live in other areas of the world, or in our own community, have taught them the joy of doing for others. We have a family connection with others whose children attend CCS. It’s such a blessing to be around other Christian families who serve as role models to us and help come alongside us as we raise our children. It’s not easy to put into words what CCS means to our family. CCS is God’s school and we, as well as others, sense His presence when on the CCS campus. He is the master and keeper of our school. Our family has been truly blessed to be a part of the CCS community. The Howard Family
Our children have grown to love learning and to work at everything with all their heart. They have experienced opportunities to participate in sports, community service, worship and the arts that may not have been possible in other settings. They have found that the word of God is the answer for all questions in life and the guide for all their decision making. They have been challenged academically and yet they have matured spiritually as they learn to live their faith. They have formed long term relationships with both the faculty and the students that continue into adulthood. We have had four children graduate from CCS and have four more continuing to thrive in the atmosphere of this community. We are grateful to God for the privilege of being a part of what He is doing at CCS, in Tallahassee and for His Kingdom. |

There is no place like home. Community Christian School is home for our family. We have been a part of this community of Christians for over 15 years and as Christ designed His body to belong to one another, we feel as though we belong at Community Christian. The atmosphere of connectedness stands out to us as I look back over the years. The members of the student body, the faculty and the families are connected through the bond of the Holy Spirit and the power He brings to all facets of school life.
